Welcome!
Welcome to Meadowgreen Community Church. We are part of the Seagate Church family and meet every Sunday at 9.30am in the Meadowgreen Centre, 141 Deveron Road, Troon, KA10 7JH. We are a church where everyone is welcome. Maybe you’ve never been to church before. Maybe it’s been a long time. Maybe you’ve got questions about who Jesus is, or perhaps you just want to find a loving church family. However you come, we’d love you to join us as we explore the goodness of God together.
What are services like?
Services last around 45 minutes and in some ways are very similar to the Seagate Family Service – we sing praises to God, read and teach from the Bible, and pray together! It’s also different in that we have tea, coffee and cakes before the service, the room is set up in a more informal ‘café style’ with groups of chairs around low tables, and we usually have some group discussion on the Bible passage during the service! Also, the kids and adults stay in together for the whole service but there are always crafts or activities for them which are related to the Bible passage.
Our history
In February 2025, we were delighted to formally welcome Meadowgreen Community Church into the Seagate family following a number of months of working closely together. Since 2015, a church has met in the Meadowgreen Centre. This was formerly known as the Northgreen Church which was originally a church plant from St Meddans Church of Scotland. It then became Meadowgreen Church and from May 2025 it has been known as Meadowgreen Community Church, part of the Seagate family.
The heart behind Meadowgreen Community Church is very much to be a community of people who love Jesus and are seeking to reach out into this community with his love. We want to communicate the good news of Jesus Christ in an accessible format, especially for those with no church background.
Leadership
As part of the Seagate Family, Meadowgreen Community Church comes under the Spiritual Leadership of the Seagate Elders, and the governing leadership of the Seagate Trustees.
Come and visit!
